THE MISSION OF AWKNG

The mission of AWKNG is to empower church leadershipwith the resources they need to awaken and engage the priesthood of believers in the whole story of Scripture. We desire to see God’s people return to Jesus as their first love and live lives of faith that is outwardly demonstrated to the world around them as they proclaim the gospel of the kingdom.

WHERE IS GOD LEADING THE CHURCH TODAY? WHAT IS NEXT?

This is a new season in the life of the global church in which we will:

– Witness God’s people return to Jesus as their first love

– Restore the function of the priesthood of believer in the local church

 – Reinstate a proper functioning of the five-fold ministry giftings outlined in Ephesians 4

– Rediscover the importance of the family, the Sabbath, the altar, and coming to the Lord’s table

We believe God has called his Church to embrace a pattern of wholeness, both with each other in our families and in local community. We believe the fullness of God’s Church functions in regional cooperation and relationship between churches as well as the global reconciliation of the entire Church across ethnic and historical barriers.

We believe this calling is fulfilled through the resourcing of pastors and ministry leaders, giving them the tools necessary to equip those in their context to be the priesthood of believers, flourishing in the work of the ministry.

WHAT IS AWKNG OPEN HOUSE?

AWKNG Open House is a three-day relational intensive designed for pastors and ministry leaders. During the intensive we will explore what ministry looks like in this paradigm shift, both for you and for those you lead. God is awakening his church to return to biblical patterns for ministry and missional engagement as well as a renewed relational identity.

WHY AWKNG OPEN HOUSE?

In this next season we desire to see God’s people functioning fully in their missional identity. We desire to see the fullness of the global Church in unity and mutual cooperation. We desire to see the Jewish people come to embrace Jesus as the Messiah and a global Church united, both Jew and non-Jew alike. Finally, we eagerly anticipate the return of Christ, the final resurrection, and the renewal of all of creation under the reign of King Jesus.
